Ellis Billingslea, 66, passed away Sept. 22, 2016 at his home in Wylie, Tx suffering a heart attack. Ellis was born Sept 18, 1950. Ellis served in the Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Goldie; son and wife, Matthew and Kendra Billingslea, three grandchildren, of Mulvane ; daughter, Jennifer Billingslea of Richardson, Texas; sister, Gwen DuVal of Garland, Texas; stepmother, Margaret Billingslea of Winfield (died July 28, 2018); step-sister, Carole Day (Kenny) and family of Winfield; stepsister, Donna Blatchford (Jack) and family of Arkansas City, Kan.; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Nixon Billingslea (died Feb. 25, 2003) and father Ellis D. Billingslea (died Apr. 5, 2007). Funeral Sept. 28, 2016, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. Graveside Service at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Winfield.
